In order to provide our students the proper environment, without any distractions, in which to take the STAAR tests, Vineyard Ranch Elementary will operate as a closed campus on the following days:
Monday, March 30, 2015
Tuesday, March 31, 2015
Monday April 20, 2015
Tuesday April 21, 2015
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
On "Closed Campus" days, the front office is open; however, all other parts of the campus are closed to visitors and volunteers, including the cafeteria. Parents cannot eat with their child, or deliver outside lunches.
Please make sure those taking the test are well rested, have a good breakfast, and arrive to school on time with a sack lunch and drink.
Young Masters Elementary Art Exhibit
Did you make it to Blossom? Did you turn back, due to the road paving construction traffic? Vineyard Ranch Artists exhibited their priceless pieces at a limited engagement on Tuesday, March 24th only! However, for a limited time, the exhibit (sans 2 pieces that will be displayed at NEISD offices) is now at the Ranch, in the atrium. Come take a look, if you missed it at Blossom!
Here is a slideshow overview of the Vineyard Ranch Exhibit, both at Blossom and in the atrium at school:

Recycle with us at the Ranch.
Did you know that old/broken cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, ink cartridges are recyclable? How about empty glue sticks and Capri juice pouches? YES, all recyclable!
LEARN HOW HERE
PTA has partnered with TerraCycle to start a number of Recycling Programs at our school.
From now on, instead of tossing items into the trash, bring them to school to earn Terracycle Points for our school. TerraCycle points are redeemable for up-cycled products, charitable gifts or payment to our school. Think of it as Win-Win situation.
The items collected will be sent to TerraCycle, an international upcycling and recycling company that collects difficult-to-recycle packaging and products and re-purposes the material into affordable, innovative products, according to terracycle.com. Our program helps earn money for our school while keeping unnecessary amounts of trash out of our landfills.
